Historical references date Mas de les

Moreres to  the seventeenth century, but

it is probably even older. After having

served many purposes in its long life, the

Mas (house) has returned to winemaking

today; Celler de l’Era takes up part of the

house, which, for much of the nineteenth

century, was used as a guest house.

 

The Mas (Catalan farmhouse) itself attests

to this legacy: the chamber next to the

one now used as the tasting room was, in

its day, a fermentation wine vat.
